This page explains how Smashberry handles personal information sent through this website, in line with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), and sets out the website’s terms of use.

1. Who we are

2. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

The person in charge of the protection of personal information at Smashberry is Illan. For any question, access or correction request, or complaint: admin@smashberryacai.com, subject “Personal information”, or by mail at the head office address.

3. What the website collects

• Forms (events, franchise): the website stores nothing. When you submit, your own email app opens with your request; you send it to admin@smashberryacai.com yourself. We then receive the information you included (name, contact details, project or event details).
• Newsletter: your email, and your first name if provided, only if you tick the consent box. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link; you can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to admin@smashberryacai.com.
• Job applications and emails: the CV and information you email us.
• No tracking cookies: the website uses no advertising or analytics cookies, no pixels and no analytics tools. Fonts are hosted on the site; no data goes to a third party when a page opens.
• Technical logs: as for any website, the host may briefly keep technical logs (IP address, requested page, date) for security and proper operation.

4. Why, and for how long

We use this information only to answer and follow up on your request (quote, franchise information, job application), and to send you the newsletter if you subscribed. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent. It is kept only as long as needed for these purposes, then destroyed.

Our email and this website may be processed by technology providers (email, hosting, newsletter delivery) located outside Quebec that provide adequate protection.

5. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, and withdraw your consent, by writing to the person in charge above. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

6. External sites

Links to Uber Eats, DoorDash, Instagram and Google Maps lead to third-party services with their own privacy policies. Online orders are placed on those platforms, never on this website.

7. Terms of use

• Prices: prices shown are in-store prices, taxes extra. They may change without notice; the price at the counter prevails. Delivery-app prices may differ.
• Photos: product photos are for illustration; presentation may vary. The Décarie store images are computer-generated project images.
• Allergies: our recipes use peanuts, almonds, pistachio, Nutella, dairy and granola, among others. If you have an allergy, tell the team before you order.
• Franchise: information on this website is not a franchise offer; an offer can only be made through a disclosure document that complies with applicable laws.
• Intellectual property: the Smashberry name, logo, illustration, photos and text belong to Smashberry or their authors. The logo may be downloaded for media use that refers to Smashberry.
