Two friends, one shared conviction.

Arnaldo and Illan have been friends for more than 20 years. In early 2026, they started Smashberry around one simple idea: bring together carefully made products, thoughtful design and genuinely warm service.

A quick stop for an açaí bowl, smoothie or light meal can still feel like a special part of someone’s day.

What is açaí?

Açaí starts as a small, deep-purple berry harvested from palm trees in the Amazon. After picking, the berries are washed and softened so the pulp can be separated from the large seed inside. The pulp is then frozen to preserve its freshness.

At Smashberry, we blend that pulp into a creamy base for our signature bowls and smoothies. Its earthy berry flavour and subtle cocoa notes pair beautifully with fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and your favourite toppings.

Where is Smashberry?

At 1314 Greene Ave, Westmount (Montréal), Quebec H3Z 2B1. Delivery goes out from Ville Saint-Laurent. A second store is coming soon on Décarie, between Royalmount and Orange Julep.

What are the opening hours?

Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Do you deliver?

Yes, through Uber Eats and DoorDash: NDG, TMR, Saint-Laurent, Laval, the West Island and more. App prices may differ from in-store prices.

How much is an açaí bowl?

$15.00 for 12 oz and $18.00 for 16 oz, for signature bowls and build-your-own alike. Smoothies $14.95, dirty smoothies $18.00, new refreshers $5.95 (20 oz), iced matcha latte $9.75.

Can I build my own bowl?

Yes: two bases (açaí, coconut, dragon fruit) and seven toppings, same price. Each extra topping is $1.50; gluten-free granola is $1.00.

What about allergies?

Our recipes use peanuts, almonds, pistachio, Nutella, dairy and granola, among others. If you have an allergy, tell the team before you order.

Do you cater events?

Yes, for offices, launches, pop-ups and parties, on quote. Request a quote.

Can I open a Smashberry franchise?

Yes. Startup costs start at CAD $175,000 and vary with location and format. Explore the franchise.
